The short version

We collect what the service needs to work and nothing we do not need. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we never read the details you enter about a wedding or a funeral for any purpose other than producing the document you asked for.

What we collect

If you do not have an account

You can build and preview a worship aid without signing up. What you type stays in your browser until you ask for a download. We record anonymous usage analytics (pages viewed, features used) and our anti-spam check runs on form submissions.

If you create an account

Your name, email address, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text). Anything you choose to save: worship aids, parish profiles, and the details inside them.

If you subscribe

Stripe handles the payment and holds the card details. We receive and store only what we need to know what you are entitled to: a customer reference, the plan, the status, and when access runs until. We never see or store your full card number.

If you use the Daily Bible Journey

Your progress through the plan, your timezone and preferred send time, and a record of which daily emails were sent to you. Which passages you have read is used to know where you are in the journey. It is not analysed, shared, or used to profile your beliefs.

Why we collect it

To produce the documents you ask for, to keep you signed in, to save your work, to take payment for the parts that are paid, to send the emails you asked for, and to understand which parts of the site people actually use so we can improve them. That is the whole list.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of third parties, each for one job:

  • Stripe for payments and subscription billing.
  • Resend for sending email, both account emails and, if you subscribe to it, the daily reading.
  • Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics.
  • Google reCAPTCHA for blocking automated abuse of forms.
  • Fly.io for hosting the application and its database.

Generating AI artwork sends your prompt to a third-party image provider. Do not put personal details in an art prompt.

Email

Account emails, such as password resets and receipts, are part of the service. Marketing and daily-reading emails are opt-in, and every one of them carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. Unsubscribing from the daily reading does not cancel your subscription, and cancelling does not require you to unsubscribe first.

How long we keep it

Saved work stays until you delete it or close your account. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics are retained in aggregate. If you delete your account we remove your personal data and saved work, keeping only what we are legally required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@weeveministry.com and we will act on it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under GDPR or similar laws; we will honour them regardless of where you live, because keeping two standards is more trouble than doing it properly once.

Children

Weeve is intended for adults preparing liturgies and reading Scripture. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and, where it affects you directly, by email. The date at the top shows the last update.
